Installing a toilet can be complicated, so we want to be sure we are able to help every step of the way. If you are needing to know exactly how to do it, then you are at the right place!
The first thing you are going to do is set up the bowl. Insert the closet bolts and place them in a line that is parallel to the wall behind the toilet.
Next, turn the bowl over and put it over something soft (like a rug) so you don’t have any damages to your new toilet. Place the wax ring on the waste horn. If you don’t know what the waste horn is, it’s the protrusion on the base of the toilet that goes into the flange.
Go to the waste drain hole and unplug it, then position the toilet on the flange. You are going to want to install the retainer washers and nuts.
Lastly, install the bolt caps on the closest bolts.
After all of that, double check to make sure the toilet has no leaks and that everything is correct.
