Septic systems handle everything that leaves your home, from sinks and showers to laundry and toilets. When they’re working properly, you don’t think about them. When something is off, it quickly affects daily routines.

At Reed’s Plumbing, Excavating, Septic, Heating & Air, septic work covers the entire system, including septic tank repair. That includes installation, repairs, maintenance, pumping, and the underground lines that connect everything together. The goal is to keep your system reliable, efficient, and able to handle normal use without ongoing issues.

If your system is not keeping up or something just feels off, now is the time to have it checked and addressed before it becomes a bigger problem. Call or contact us to schedule an appointment.

Each service focuses on a different part of the system, but they all work together to keep everything operating as it should.

Signs Your Septic System Needs Attention

Most septic issues start with small changes. Catching them early can prevent larger problems and more extensive repairs.

Common signs include:

  • Slow drains throughout the home
  • Sewage backing up into sinks, tubs, or toilets
  • Unusual odors inside or outside
  • Wet or soggy areas in the yard
  • Gurgling sounds from plumbing

If you’re noticing any of these, it’s a good idea to have the system checked before the issue gets worse.

Why Septic Work Requires Experience

Septic systems are mostly underground, so the real problem isn’t always visible. Fixing the issue correctly requires understanding how the entire system works together, not just one component.

Reed’s Plumbing, Excavating, Septic, Heating & Air handles both the plumbing side and the excavation work. That allows the full system to be evaluated and repaired without relying on multiple contractors. Problems are identified accurately, repairs are completed efficiently, and the system is restored with long-term performance in mind.

Tray and John did an excellent job repairing an AC flow line leak. This morning I woke up to water all over the place from an AC flow line leak and it sent me into a panic. I called Reeds Plumbing and they sent Tray and John and they both were great! They fixed my flow line problem that another AC company supposedly told me that I needed when I didn't. The elbow on the flow line that the other AC company installed caused sludge to build up in the drain pan and caused an overflow outside of the drain pan. Tray and John worked together to repair what another AC company screwed up on. I will from hereon call Reeds Plumbing.

Reeds was an excellent choice for my air conditioner replacement and sewer line repair. Their prices were fair and reasonable. The sewer crew did a great job and made an adjustment to prevent future issues.

The HVAC crew was great. They were respectful of my property while working. Alfonso and Jose explained everything and made sure to double check their work before they left.

Highly recommend!

Reed’s Plumbing has always taken great care of me. After a recent hail storm, they came out quickly and fixed the furnace vent on my roof, and the work was excellent - just like every time I’ve used them in the past. They’re reliable, kind, and consistently do good work. Highly recommend.

Just had my septic pumped by Reed’s Plumbing - day before Fourth of July holiday. The lady who answered my call initially explained they were booked until the week after but she took the extra time to find me a slot. I was especially relieved, as we are hosting 12 people for a Fourth of July celebration. Robbie and Wayne came as promised and called to let me know they would be here in approximately 20 minutes. Robbie and Wayne were very professional and knowledgeable. They didn’t waste any time and began working immediately. I was also given a brief tutorial of how the septic system works and was shown that it was now empty. (Yucky-🤢) I definitely would recommend Reed’s for your septic issues. Oh, Reed’s is a lot more than just septic. Be sure to check them out!!
