These are inexpensive and it can never hurt to have multiple ranging in sizes because you might just need to use two as clamps.

3.) Basin Wrench
The basin wrench has a spring-loaded, clamping jaw designed for gripping and turning bolts and fasteners in tight spaces. It’s the perfect tool for jobs like loosening the nuts undereath a deep kitchen sink.
4.) Plumber’s Putty
This will help form a tight seal. When doing DIY project, putty can be your best friend. If you’re replacing or upgrading a faucet, a piece of plumber’s putty can help you avoid leaks and keep parts in place.
5.) Plunger
This is the most common plumbing tool that households have. Overflowing toilets to clogged drains, your plunger can help you get out of that mess! Keep it in the bathroom so it’s always with you while you need it..
6.) Tongue and Groove Pliers
You will want a good pair of tongue and groove pliers to help hold things in place. They have a slip-joint design that allow the jaws to open wide. Most pliers have long handles that make them great for turning, tightening, and loosening.
7.) Plumber’s Tape
This is also known as Teflon tape or thread seal tape. You can just wrap a few layers around clean, dry threads, making sure to wind the tape clockwise.
8.) Toilet Auger
If a plunger can’t help you, you need the auger. This can extend a long metal cable into your toilet drain to break obstructions and send them on their way.
